Pope Francis’ Encyclical: Climate Change Evokes Moral Change

This past Wednesday, Yale faculty and heads of religious life  gathered at St. Thomas More for a panel discussion titled Pope Francis’ Encyclical: Climate Change Evokes Moral Change. With the intention of looking across several different disciplines, panel members discussed how the recent papal encyclical can re-frame the issue of climate change for Catholics and non-Catholics.

Drs. John Grimm and Mary Evelyn Tucker - Co-Directors of the Forum on Religion and Ecology at Yale

Dr. Teresa Berger - Professor of Liturgical Studies and Thomas E. Golden, Jr. Professor of Catholic Theology at Yale Divinity School and Yale Institute of Sacred Music

Joanna Dafoe - J.D. candidate at Yale Law School and recent graduate of the Yale School of Forestry

Joshua Ratner -Associate Rabbi of the Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale

Omer Bajwa - Coordinator of Muslime Life for the Yale Chapain’s Office
